This layout supports a flexible booking experience for Enterprise businesses.
The Modern layout always begins with the selection of a Service (categorized (1) or listed individually), and then moves on to the Location, Staff, Time, Client Details and Summary selections.
Certain Client view settings are not available to the Modern Client View, such as the pre-booking statement, or the option to display the service or location first. Some of these settings have been replaced with better user interactions, or are no longer relevant with the new layout. When the client view layout is set to Modern, any settings that are not supported will be disabled.
The service page displays all the services(2) that are available for booking. When services are setup with categories(1), each category will be available in a navigation style menu. At the top of each page clients have the option of selecting their preferred language(3) from one of the 3 available languages shown in the screenshot.
Once a service has been selected you'll be navigated to the location page which displays all the locations that are assigned to the selected service.
Selecting a location from the list will display more information about the location, such as Hours of Operation, Directions(1) call to action that redirects you to Google Maps showing you the navigation directions based of your current location. The Call option also gives you the option of calling the location's contact number, if there is a phone number set for the location.
After the service and location are selected, the next step is to indicate a preference in staff. If there is no preference for staff, available times can be displayed for any staff that performs the location. If multiple languages are supported for the service/location pairing, this is also be indicated as a preference.
The date and time page allows you to choose when to meet for your appointment booking. It also allows you to select the most suitable timezone(1) and clicking on "anyone available ..." allows you to change available times based on the Staff member's language ability(2).
The details page is where the the client information is captured, including additional attendees and questions. Certain fields can be required or left optional - this settings can be managed in the Client view settings.
Once the details have been entered and click next you'll see an overview of you appointment summary to confirm your details and appointment information. On this page you still have the option of going back to the previous pages to make adjustments to your appointment.
Once you click Book Appointment you'll see a confirmation window for the booked appointment.
