Can I use Coconut Calendar from a mobile device?

Yes, you can.  

How to access the mobile app

Just type in http://your-site.coconutcalendar.com/login on your mobile phone internet browser. It will show you the mobile login page.

Here you will see we give you the option to choose your layout. Should you find yourself at this login screen and are on a tablet device, you can choose to log in and not see the mobile version of the site. After logging in, the first thing you will see is your Schedule starting on the current date.

On the schedule page, you will be able to view and edit appointments, add appointments, toggle between locations and jump to particular dates.

To view an appointment click on the appointment listed in your schedule view. You can proceed to edit your appointment by selecting on the areas you wish to change.  Be sure to click Save at the top if you do make any changes.

To Add an appointment from the schedule view, tap the green Add button and select your Appointment type or Absence type.  Fill out the information for the appointment and click Save to create.  You can add individual and group client appointments, as well as personal, sick and vacation absences for yourself.

To choose a different location, simply tap the location selection area at the top of the screen. You will then be prompted with the Locations. Simply choose your desired location, tap done and that's it. The schedule will load appointments for that location.

Should you wish to choose a different date, tap the calendar at the top, choose your date of choice, tap done and, once again, that's it.

You've just experienced all the schedule page has to offer. Now for the client page.

Tap on the Menu button in the upper left corner.  


Select Clients 

Here you can search for a client and, if the client exists, you can simply tap the client to see your options. You can also add new clients by clicking on the green add and completing the required information.

Client Options

As you can see, you can either initiate a phone call, edit or view their details. If the client has a mobile number, that will be the default option when initiating a phone call, otherwise it will be their home number and if that does not exist, their work number.

The client details are, as with everything else, editable. To edit your client details click on the name of the client and then select Edit, make your changes and be sure to Save before closing.

Add to Home Screen

If you have a smartphone you can make accessing the mobile site even easier by adding a short cut directly on your home screen. Simply visit our mobile site and login. Then on your phone select the bookmark icon.

Select the "Add to Home Screen" option and give your icon an appropriate label such as "Coconut Calendar"

When you are done simply click "Add" and you should see the icon appear on your home screen.
